Are you eligible to claim?

If you are a CITB Levy Payer, you can claim grants or funding.

However, if you are employed by a company or are a sole trader, you cannot claim. To register with CITB and view more details on eligibility, visit the CITB website.

Once registered, you will be given a CITB Levy Number, which you should provide to your CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO), ATS Group. We will put the claim in for you once you have completed a course.

What can you claim for?

Currently, you can claim grants and funding for NPORS and CPCS training and testing. There are separate grants for theory and practical.

To check which course categories and recognised awarding bodies are claimable, please visit the CITB website, as this information may change.

Many of our courses have funding available from CITB, but please contact us if you are unsure exactly what you claim for.

How much can be claimed?

The amount you can claim will vary on the type of grant you receive, whether it’s a Short Course, Qualification, or Apprenticeship Grant.

With the Skills and Training Fund, small employers can claim up to £10,000, whereas medium sized employers can claim up to £25,000. A Leadership and Management Development Fund is also available for large businesses with more than 250 directly employed staff.

For the most up-to-date information on grants and funding, please check the CITB website.
